You are encouraged to follow the professional advice given to you by your Therapist because each session will demonstrate how well you are progressing between sessions. It is strongly recommended that you actively participate in each discussion. The more progress you are making, the shorter the need for therapy. You may receive some advice regarding steps you should take at home, at work, in the company of others, etc. to help you improve your life and become confident and super charge your self-esteem. The first thing anyone seeking mental health therapy is to call your insurance carrier and ask if you have Mental Health Coverage. Your Insurance Customer Service representative will answer any questions you may have. Be sure you understand what your Insurance Carrier is explaining to you.

  • What Mental Health Benefits do I have?
  • What amount of payment is covered for each therapy session?
  • How many sessions do I have available under my Mental Health Plan?
  • Is my insurance paying for out of network therapist? If yes how much?
  • Do I need an approved referral from my Primary Care Physician before attending Therapy?

You can always be assured that your information is not disclosed outside of the therapist’s office. A written notification of confidentiality should be shared with each client and the original is kept by the Therapist. This Confidentiality form is an agreement explaining that there are limitations when it comes to sharing a client’s information. If a client requests disclosure of his/her personal information, it will be necessary for the client to authorize release of such contents. The state of Florida has laws that protect the release of confidential information.

A client’s confidentiality is protected by the laws enacted by the state.
